Sophia is a humanoid robot created by Hong Kong company Hanson Robotics and unveiled in April 2015. She was the first robot to be granted citizenship and her passport, allowing her freedom of movement in any country. Sophia the Robot is a humanoid artificial intelligence (AI) who recently became a Saudi Arabian citizen. She made her debut at the 2017 CES in Las Vegas. The future is finally upon us. Sophia, The World's First Social Robot, appeared at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in 2023.
